    Moartea-i fǎrǎ leac.

    Sim. A deadly disease neither physician nor physic can ease / There is no medicine against death.

    Nu e trandafir fǎrǎ spini.
    Nici un trandafir fǎrǎ ghimpi.

  28. The fairest ROSE at last is withered.
    Trandafirul cu cât mai frumos, cu atât mai puţin ţine.
    Trandafirii se scuturǎ, dar spinul rǎmâne.

  29. He that fights and RUNS away, may live to fight another day.
    Fuga e ruşinoasǎ, dar e sǎnǎtoasǎ.
